2022 NISSAN ALTIMA: READY FOR ANY ROAD, ANY WEATHER

It seems these days that SUVs are king and there is no more room for sporty sedans. Well, the 2022 Nissan Altima has something to say about that. This sedan has everything you could want. From AWD, power, cargo space, technology and safety, there are few things this car cannot do.

When people think of SUVS, they often think of All Wheel Drive or Four Wheel Drive. This is because SUVs have been known as all weather vehicles. However, many sedans have the same AWD feature, but do not get the same respect. Why is that? The 2022 Nissan Altima not only has the same Intelligent AWD system that is in the Rogue, but has a lower center of gravity for better traction. Add the Altima’s Hill Start Assist, Intelligent Trace Control and Active Ride Control, there is nothing the Altima cannot tackle.

Ok. Maybe that last statement was hyperbolic. The Altima does not have the same ground clearance as the Pathfinder, but when it comes to power, the Altima is top dog. The new SR VC-Turbo Engine utilizes a variable compression ratio to provide instantaneous power and torque to all four tires. The SR VC is a 2.0L Turbocharged 4 Cylinder engine producing 248 HP and 273 Lb-Ft of torque. And according to Nissan, this new engine is designed to provide V6 like acceleration. Let’s see a Rogue do that!

Another thing sedans get cursed for is their storage volume. SUVs have large hatchback style liftgates to improve storage quality while sedans are stuck with trunks. Do not worry. The new Nissan Altima’s trunk is enormous, coming in around 15.4 CUFT. To put this into perspective, the 2022 Nissan Armada only has 15.6 CUFT and it is a full size SUV. So do not worry about not being able to fit the things you need to into your Altima.

Another stand-out on the Altima is the technology. Nowadays people want to enjoy their driving experience because so much of driving is mundane or frustrating. In this new model, the Altima does just that. Here are a few of the technology options available on the Altima:

  • Remote Start with Intelligent Climate Control – is it scorching or freezing out? The Altima’s remote start will adjust to ensure the temperature is perfect before you get inside.
  • Dual Zone Climate Control – Never worry about being too hot or too cold when riding with passengers.
  • Bose Premium Audio System with Active Noise Cancellation – not only will your mind be massaged by Bose sound quality, but the ANC will reduce exterior commotion for a quieter ride.
  • Door To Door Navigation- Connect your smartphone to your Altima for a complete navigation experience from your front door to your destination’s.

Lastly the big appeal for SUVs is that they are bigger and therefore assumed safer. This is not necessarily true, but it does not matter. The new Nissan Altima is extremely safe, winning not only 5 Stars from the NHTSA, but also the Top Safety Pick Plus from the IIHS. The Altima may be smaller, but safety is measured in stars and the Altima won them all.

The new 2022 Nissan Altima is a fantastic vehicle. It competes with SUVs on a level most would believe unthinkable. A symbiotic combination of AWD, a powerful engine, 21st century technology and a safety record to boot. If you have been tossing around in your mind SUV or sedan, now is the time to drive a Nissan Altima!

Understanding the "Beautiful" Act: What It Means for Your Wallet

Buying a vehicle just got significantly more affordable. If you follow recent news, you likely heard about the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act. Signed into law recently, this legislation introduces massive tax deductions for working Americans and seniors. But how does this new law affect your wallet when it is time to upgrade your ride? Here at Greeley Nissan, we want to help you maximize your savings. Let us break down the details of this bill so you can keep more money in your bank account. The "No Tax on Car Loan Interest" Provision The most exciting news for drivers is the "No Tax on Car Loan Interest" provision. Effective for tax years 2025 through 2028, individuals can deduct the interest paid on a qualified vehicle loan. You can claim a maximum annual deduction of up to $10,000. To qualify for this fantastic tax break, your purchase must meet a few specific criteria. The loan must originate after December 31, 2024. You must buy a new vehicle for personal use, and it must undergo its final assembly right here in the United States. Fortunately, Nissan maintains a massive manufacturing footprint in America, meaning many of our most popular new models qualify for this deduction. Making Your New Nissan More Affordable This generous tax deduction makes affording a brand-new car much easier for everyday buyers. When you can deduct your loan interest, your overall cost of ownership drops significantly over the life of your auto loan. This means you can comfortably finance a new vehicle, enjoy the latest safety features, and get a fantastic financial perk at tax time. The bill essentially lowers the barrier to entry for securing a reliable, factory-fresh vehicle for your family. Incredible Value on Pre-Owned Vehicles We understand that a brand-new car is not the right fit for every budget or lifestyle. While the new loan interest deduction applies strictly to new vehicles, buying pre-owned still offers massive upfront savings.
