2023 NISSAN ARIYA EV: WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT NISSAN'S NEW EV

The 2023 Ariya EV Platinum+

Electric Vehicles are extremely hot right now. Every manufacturer is grinding to release electric versions of their most popular sellers. As fuel prices seem to increase, Americans are more and more convinced by the benefits of EVs. One thing is certain, every manufacturer wants an Electric SUV and Nissan is no exception, however when their highly anticipated 2023 Nissan Ariya will be released is yet to be seen. This is what we know so far about this revolutionary Nissan.

To start, the 2023 Nissan Ariya will come with varying Battery Ranges. Depending on which trim level you choose, the Ariya ranges vary from 265 Miles up to 300 Miles. According to Nissan USA, the new e-4orce AWD Platinum Plus model will have the lowest range, but you receive the benefits of Nissan’s exceptional All Wheel Drive technology.

Speaking of trim levels, the new Ariya EV will come with four options to choose: Venture+, Evolve+, Premiere and Platinum+. Each trim will come with its own luxury benefits, but the highest trim level, the Platinum+ will come equipped with an 290 KW AC Synchronous Motor producing 389 HP, Motion Activated Hands Free Liftgate, Nappa Leather Seating, Pro Pilot Assist 2.0 and Pro Pilot Park.

Let us discuss the Ariya’s AC Synchronous Motor for second. If you don’t know, EVs are famous for their explosive power and the Ariya is no exception. The 290KW Electric Motor not only produces 389 HP, but also produces 442 Lb-Ft of Torque. To put this in perspective, Ford’s 5.0L V8 Engine produces only 410 Lb-Ft of Torque. The Ariya has more torque than a truck that can tow 13,000 lbs. And what is the 0- 60 mph time for the Ariya? A blistering 4.8 seconds.

A Powerful Electric Motor

So we know it is powerful and quick, but is it luxurious like some of its competitors. It absolutely is. Nissan describes the Nappa Leather Zero Gravity Seats combined with a Sliding Center Console and a Glowing Dash Lantern like a day at the spa. I cannot speak to that, but looking at images of the interior, it does have an eloquence rarely seen, even in Nissans.

Nissan seems to be throwing everything to include the kitchen lantern at the Ariya. The new interactive infotainment system is powered by Amazon Alexa and functions with enhanced Artificially Intelligent Voice Recognition. Ask the Ariya to increase the cabin temperature and the Ariya will comply. Additionally, the Integrated Display Interface can be customized to the preferences of the driver. Widgets and Apps can be downloaded, displayed and reorganized to suit your favorite options. Not only that, but you can interact with your Ariya from your smart phone through the Nissan Connect App.

Futuristic Customizable Technology

The one thing most internal combustion users fear about switching to all electric is charging. Well, the Ariya removes all of those fears. The Nissan Connect App, mentioned above, can provide all the information you need such as: Current Range, Nearby Charging Stations, Charge Scheduling and Current Charging Rate. You will have all the information at your fingertips to put your mind at ease.

The Ariya Will Keep You Going

The all new 2023 Nissan Ariya EV is expected to be astounding. Its array of luxury features, powerful electric motor and modern styling will likely revolutionize Nissan’s customer base. The Nissan Rogue is the second best selling SUV in the United States. If the Ariya is half of what Nissan previewed, the Rogue may be taking a back seat.

Understanding the "Beautiful" Act: What It Means for Your Wallet

Buying a vehicle just got significantly more affordable. If you follow recent news, you likely heard about the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act. Signed into law recently, this legislation introduces massive tax deductions for working Americans and seniors. But how does this new law affect your wallet when it is time to upgrade your ride? Here at Greeley Nissan, we want to help you maximize your savings. Let us break down the details of this bill so you can keep more money in your bank account. The "No Tax on Car Loan Interest" Provision The most exciting news for drivers is the "No Tax on Car Loan Interest" provision. Effective for tax years 2025 through 2028, individuals can deduct the interest paid on a qualified vehicle loan. You can claim a maximum annual deduction of up to $10,000. To qualify for this fantastic tax break, your purchase must meet a few specific criteria. The loan must originate after December 31, 2024. You must buy a new vehicle for personal use, and it must undergo its final assembly right here in the United States. Fortunately, Nissan maintains a massive manufacturing footprint in America, meaning many of our most popular new models qualify for this deduction. Making Your New Nissan More Affordable This generous tax deduction makes affording a brand-new car much easier for everyday buyers. When you can deduct your loan interest, your overall cost of ownership drops significantly over the life of your auto loan. This means you can comfortably finance a new vehicle, enjoy the latest safety features, and get a fantastic financial perk at tax time. The bill essentially lowers the barrier to entry for securing a reliable, factory-fresh vehicle for your family. Incredible Value on Pre-Owned Vehicles We understand that a brand-new car is not the right fit for every budget or lifestyle. While the new loan interest deduction applies strictly to new vehicles, buying pre-owned still offers massive upfront savings.
