The 2019 Nissan LEAF got an upgrade this year with the new LEAF Plus! The Plus offers up to 226 mile range, as compared to the standard LEAF’s 150 mile range. The extended range and the sporty new design of the new LEAF makes it a more practical solution for those who have had “range anxiety” holding them back from making the switch to electric.

The newest LEAF design features Nissan’s signature V-motion grill, attractive new taillights and the floating roof that you see on other Nissan models such as the Maxima and Murano. Due to the larger batter, the Plus weighs about 300 lbs more than the standard option, but Nissan has made up for that by increasing the horsepower to 215 (up from 147) and the torque to 250 lb-ft (up from 236).

You also get plenty of new tech and safety in the LEAF Plus, including Nissan’s new e-Pedal, which allows you to drive with just one pedal. Braking us applied when your foot comes off the accelerator. The vehicle also offers emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, lane correction, blind spot monitoring, and Nissan’s amazing new ProPilot Assist. This feature is a hands on driver assist, which keeps in you centered in your lane and at a safe distance from the car ahead of you. ProPilot assist isn’t quite “self driving” but it sure comes close!

All of these amazing features, as well as state and federal rebates, plus our brand new Level III fast charger at Greeley Nissan, make buying your new Nissan LEAF easier than ever!
