New Level 3 EV Charger coming to Greeley!

We are very excited to announce that Greeley Nissan has received a grant from the Colorado Energy office through the Charge Ahead Colorado program! Our ongoing commitment to Electric Vehicle adoption has given us the opportunity to partner with CEO on expanding EV charging throughout the state of Colorado! We are using these grant funds to install a new Level 3 EV charging station at our dealership. As our local EV drivers may know, our previous Level 3 charging station has recently gone out of commission, so having a new one installed will be a huge benefit to our community!
As a dealership that cares about the environment, we want to make it as easy as possible for people to make the switch to America’s best selling EV, the 100% electric Nissan LEAF. We know that convenient and fast charging stations are the key to making the switch from gas to electric a seamless one. The addition of a new, state of the art, fast charger on site will make a huge difference in the lives of current and future EV drivers and we are proud to be a part of that.
We plan to have the new charging station installed and open to the public before Jan. 31, 2019. It will be available for use 24/7. Stay tuned for updates on this project. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as the new charging station is open to the public!
All New 2019 Nissan Altima
We had the pleasure of training on the all new 2019 Nissan Altima that will be available for sale at Greeley Nissan soon! Aside from the beautiful new interior and exterior design, there are a lot of exciting new options on the 2019 model. The 6th generation of our best selling mid-sized sedan will come with option AWD for the first time ever, making it a more practical option for many of us here in Colorado.
The new Altima will also be packed with Nissan’s newest Intelligent Mobility technology, including ProPilot Assist. This amazing feature is a hands on driver assist system that reduces the hassle of stop-and-go driving by helping control acceleration, braking and steering during single-lane highway driving. The smart cruise control will keep you at a selected distance from the car in front of you, no mater how much the pace of traffic fluctuates. It will even bring you to a complete stop during traffic jams or when the car in front of you stops at a red light. The steering assistance reads the lines in the road and will continuously adjust the steering wheel to keep you in the center of the lane.
Additionally, the 2019 Altima features the world’s first production ready VC (variable compression) turbo inline 4 cylinder engine! This new engine will replace the previous generation Altima’s 3.5-liter V6 engine. The VC turbo generates the same performance of the V6 gasoline engines but with 4 cylinder level fuel economy. This year was the Weld County Fair’s 100th Anniversary, so it has been a very exciting fair season here in Greeley this week! Greeley Nissan was proud to attend and support the Fair’s Junior Livestock Sale again this year. It’s a great event that we’ve enjoyed being a part of year after year. We love seeing the community come together to support the 4H members who have worked so hard all year raising their livestock. It’s no easy task, and we’re so proud of the kids who learn such discipline through the process of raising their animals. This year, we purchased 2 cows and 2 pigs. All of the money spent goes directly to the kids, and buyers have the option to donate the meat from the livestock to the Weld County Food Bank. The event is such a great way to

Greeley Stampede 4th of July Parade
A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Greeley Stampede’s 97th annual 4th of July parade! This was the first year Greeley Nissan has had the opportunity to participate in the parade and we look forward to doing so for years to come.
We were honored to have a Nissan Titan XD as one of over 100 entries in the parade. However, the parade is all about community, so we found a special way to make our entry about more than just our dealership. Greeley West’s agriculture teacher, Kelly Longacre, partnered with us and invited 10 of his FFA members to ride in our truck and celebrate all the hard work done by these Future Farmers of America! We are so proud of these young adults for developing their leadership skills and pursuing their agricultural education. We look forward to hosting them in our entry again next year and finding new ways to support them throughout the year.
We hope everyone had as fun at the Independence Day parade as we did and enjoyed all the other festivities of the Greeley Stampede this week! For more about the parade and it’s ties to the community, check out this great write up by the Greeley Tribune.
